Injection mold design process:
The first step: product analysis and modification, to determine the mold structure, shrink map:
1, product analysis: the direction of the mold parting line and parting surface, size, thickness, MASTER injection moulder angle, undercut and the corresponding core pulling way into the glue point the way into the plastic, the mold cavity number and so on.
2, turn drawings: Figure out using three-dimensional software, generally establish three views: the first one main view (the mold surface projection), a second perspective view of the third (outer surface and an inner surface). Other views in section triangulation MASTER cabinet mould method or the first place, a cross-sectional view (X and Y, the position taken by the important position of the center line, undercut, column position, holes, pillow-bit, etc.), save the file DXF format, to the number of open-standard CAD processing.
3, shrink map: Mirroring the previous step drawing once and zoom in on a multiple of shrinkage. (Marked: MI, shrinkage)
